NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — It’s Democratic primary day in Queens, with only one office on the ballot: district attorney.

Among the candidates are Borough President Melinda Katz and Tiffany Caban, who has the support of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
The other candidates are Greg Lasak, Mina Malik, Jose Nieves and Betty Lugo.

The winner is widely expected to win in November and follow longtime District Attorney Richard Brown, who died last month at 86.

New York Attorney General Letittia James says her office has set up a hotline for voters who run into any trouble Tuesday.

The polls are open until 9 p.m.
