NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Thousands of customers were without power in Brooklyn as a two-day winter storm descended on the tri-state.

The outage affected roughly 4,000 Con Edison customers in Park Slope, Windsor Terrace and Dyker Heights, according to Mayor de Blasio.

Power was restored Sunday evening. Con Edison blamed the outage on a powerline failure related to the storm.
