Police: Worker sexually abused 7-year-old at Long Island supermarket

GREAT NECK PLAZA, N.Y. (1010 WINS) – The arrest of a supermarket employee suspected of molesting a boy at a store on Long Island has police seeking any more potential victims.

David Bonom, 34, faces charges of first-degree sexual abuse after the alleged abuse at Best Market in Great Neck Plaza on Friday.

Police said the 7-year-old boy had been shopping with his grandfather when Bonom led him to a bottle recycling room and put his hands down the boy’s pants.

The boy told his father when he got home and the father went to the supermarket and called police.
