Police searching for suspect who randomly punched 68-year-old woman

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released surveillance footage Tuesday of a suspect who allegedly walked up to a 68-year-old woman in Harlem and punched her in the side of the head for no apparent reason.

The incident occurred on Oct. 12 at 137th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd.

The victim was standing in front of her home when the unidentified man punched her on the left side of her head.

They did not interact before the assault.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for pain and laceration.
