Police search for men who attacked 65-year-old man in subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for two men they say attacked a 65-year-old man on the subway station in Brooklyn.

Officials say the man was on the stairs in the Clinton-Washington Avenues station on August 1 at approximately 10:50 a.m. when a suspect punched him in the back of the head.

He then fell down the stairs and landed on the floor, unconscious.

The attacker and another man with him took the victim's book bag which contained his wallet, headphones, watch, Bluetooth speaker and cell phone.

The victim suffered a fractured jaw was fractured, two broken ribs and a laceration to the back of the head.

Police have asked for help identifying the men involved.
