Police release video of suspects in Williamsburg attack on 3 Hasidic men

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released new video Tuesday of a group of teens they are searching for in connection with a series of attempted robberies of Hasidic men in Williamsburg on Monday.

There were three incidents which occurred within a 40 minute period early Monday morning.

The NYPD is investigating the attacks as possible bias crimes.

The first incident took place at about 5 a.m. at 80 Ross Street, where a 71-year-old man was punched in the face.

His pockets were searched but nothing was taken, and the men fled.

He was taken to Bellevue hospital in stable condition.

The second incident took place about a half hour later, at 91 Clymer Street where a 67-year-old man was punched in the face and had his pockets searched.

No property was taken and the victim turned down medical attention.

The third attempted burglary took place 10 minutes later, at 5:40 a.m., according to police, at 626 Wythe Place.

The teens punched a 56-year-old man and searched his pockets.

No property was taken and the victim was taken to Bellevue hospital in stable condition.
