NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are looking for a man who raped and robbed a woman in her Queens apartment.

On Saturday, the NYPD released video of the suspect in the Feb. 7 attack near Gates and Saint Nicholas avenues in Ridgewood.

Polices say the suspect is an acquaintance of the 28-year-old victim and had crashed at her place before the rape and robbery.

While the woman was sleeping, the man began to rape her, according to police, who said she woke up and was able to break free.

The man stole the woman’s Apple watch and cash before taking off, police say.

Police haven’t named the suspect, but say he is in his late 20s or early 30s.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
