Police: Man gropes 12-year-old girl on NYC street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for the man who they say groped a 12-year-old girl on a Bronx street on Friday.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect on Sunday.

Police said the girl was walking near East 232nd Street and Carpenter Avenue in the Wakefield section around 4:15 p.m. when the man came up from behind her.

The man grabbed her rear-end then ran off down White Plains Road.

The girl was not physically injured in the attack.
