Police: 13-year-old boy sexually assaulted behind Queens deli

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a man who they say sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy in Queens.

Police say the suspect is known around the neighborhood as 'Mel' and forced the boy to perform a sex act on him behind the Hands Deli on Merrick Boulevard in Laurelton on Sunday.

Mel is described as a black male, approximately 250 lbs., 6'0" tall, with brown eyes. He is bald with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue and gray NY Mets baseball cap, black sneakers, a gray t-shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, a black bubble vest, black jeans and has an earring in his left ear.
