NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A pizza deliveryman was arrested by ICE agents after he delivered a pizza to Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn.

Pablo Villavicencio was detained by Military Police Friday at the Bay Ridge Army base and now faces deportation to Ecuador, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.

His wife and young daughters find their lives turned upside down now and his daughters, clutching dolls, are asking, "where's papa," Jones reported.

"It's cruel that they had to separate my daughters from him," Villavincencio's wife Sandra Chica said.

She said he knew it was a risk but her husband needed to work. "Every day it was a risk for him but he said I need to work," Chica said.

In a statement, ICE agents said they offered Villavicencio a voluntary departure in 2010.

He remains in ICE custody pending removal, Jones reported.
