Does Phil Murphy Want To Run For President In 2020?
TRENTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- He's only been on the job for half a year, but there's word that Phil Murphy may have his sights set on even higher office in 2020.
Most of his press conferences are filled with attacks on Donald Trump and discussions of foreign policy and trade.
As to President Murphy, Ralph said 'no thanks.'
"Is he joking or is he serious?" he said, "Both of them (Murphy and Cuomo) should stick to what they're doing and try to get their states straight instead of taking on a bigger project like the whole country."
One guy standing nearby was wearing his 'anybody but Trump' face.
"No question, Murphy across the board," he said of a contest between the governor and the president.
Murphy has a 44 percent approval rating, President Trump's is 43.2 percent.
