PBA, Victims’ Families Oppose Parole For Cop Killer Anthony Bottom

May 18, 2018 - 9:23 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Another cop killer is up for parole, and PBA President Pay Lynch doesn't want Anthony Bottom getting out like fellow cops killer Herman Bell, who was granted parole despite the PBA's best efforts.

"We're here because this parole board did not do it's job, did not go by their own rules. And we're here to stand before this judge and say 'you cannot allow this to happen," Lynch said.

On Friday, the families of Waverly Jones and Joseph Piagentini will be back before the parole board presenting victim impact statements against Anthony Bottom, who along with fellow Black Liberation Army members Bell and Albert Washington, murdered the officers in an ambush 47-years-ago.
