July 03, 2018 - 12:12 pm

NEW YORK (1010WINS) -- Don't count on Oprah Winfrey making a run for the White House in 2020.

The multimedia mogul, who is on the cover of British Vogue's August issue in a custom Stella McCarrney taffeta gown, told the magazine that a life in politics isn't for her.

"In that political structure -- all the non-truths, the bullsh*t, the crap, the nastiness, the backhanded backroom stuff that goes on -- I feel like I could not exist," Winfrey, 64, told British Vogue," which arrives on newsstands Friday.

"I would not be able to do it," she added. "It's not a clean business. It would kill me."

There was a push for Oprah to run after she gave a rousing speech at the Golden Globes in January, but she quickly shot it down. Still, her supporters have remained determined to see her in the Oval Office, so she has been forced to continually address it.
