Off-duty NYPD officer arrested for harassing, stalking ex-girlfriend

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested on Wednesday after he was accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend, officials said.

Officer Ernie Moran, 34, allegedly called his ex repeatedly throughout the day.

He would also allegedly show up at her Jackson Heights, Queens, home unannounced after she told him to never return.

On one instance, according to the Daily News, he allegedly stared at her through her window at her home.

Moran faces aggravated harassment and stalking charges.
