NYPD: Teen pushed into traffic, killed during argument

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Cops are searching for the person who killed a teenager by pushing him into the path of an oncoming vehicle in the Bronx.

Angel Reyes-Gonzalez , 19, was in an argument with the person near Bainbridge Avenue and East 194th Street in the Fordham Manor neighborhood moments before he was pushed in front of an ambulette, according to police.

First responders found the Reyes-Gonzalez with severe head trauma around 6 p.m. Monday.

He was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The ambulette was heading down Bainbridge Avenue when Reyes-Gonzalez emerged from between two parked cars. He was struck by the vehicle and knocked to the pavement, cops said.

The driver of the ambulette remained at the scene and was not arrested.

No other arrests have been reported.

An investigation by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is ongoing.
