NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who allegedly slashed a pair of subway riders and robbed them last week on a Brooklyn train.

Last Friday at around 4 a.m., two men, 47 and 30, were on a northbound Q train as it was approaching the Avenue M subway station, when they were approached by a man who displayed a box cutter and demanded their property, police said.

The male slashed both victims on the head, arms and torso, before removing one of the victim's property which consisted of construction tools, cellphones and cash.

EMS responded and transported both victims to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition where they were treated for their injuries.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties with long black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hat, dark jacket and blue jeans.
