NYPD seek woman who punched 71-year-old woman, leaving her with her a bloody face

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a woman who punched a 71-year-old woman, with whom she got into a verbal dispute, leaving the victim with a bloody and swelling face, police said Tuesday. 

Police said in a press release that on Jan. 14 at around 3:30 p.m. near Coney Island, "an unidentified female individual got into a verbal dispute with a 71-year-old female victim over cans in front of 2901 Mermaid Avenue. The female individual then punched the victim multiple times about the face causing bleeding and swelling before fleeing on foot to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention."

The individual is described as a female, Black, approximately 35-years-old, 5'5", 160lbs; last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a dark-colored head cover, eyeglasses and carrying a dog with a blue and green jacket.
