NYPD seek man who followed victim into lobby, punched and robbed him

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is seeking a man who followed another man into his Bronx apartment building, punched him unconscious, and then robbed him.

Last Friday around 8 p.m., the suspect followed a 63 year-old man into the lobby of his building, located at 182nd Street and Grand Concourse.

The suspect proceeded to punch the victim in his face, causing him to lose consciousness. Upon falling, the suspect removed $40 in cash from the victim's pocket, police said. 

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for a concussion and swollen eye.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 5'9", approximately 250lbs, last seen wearing a grey sweater with a blue stripe in the front, matching sweatpants, white sneakers, and a blue hat.  He was also was carrying a red bag.
