NYPD seek man, 64, in connection with Staten Island slashing attack

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are on the hunt for a 64-year-old man who allegedly slashed two people with a knife in late August on Staten Island.

The altercation took place in front of a laundromat on Richmond Terrace. The victims were a man and a woman, both 43.

"The male approached the two victims, displayed a knife and began to slash at the victims causing lacerations to their hands, arms and torso," police said in a statement. "The individual then fled on foot in an unknown direction."

The NYPD are seeking Yves LaRouche for questioning. He is black, 5'10, and 150 lbs.
