NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man involved in a robbery pattern at Manhattan GameStop stores.

Police officials say that in each incident, the suspect enters the store through the front door, approaches the employee while displaying a cutting instrument. He then demands money and removes cash from the register before fleeing the location.

According to police, on the morning of April 13 the suspect entered an East Harlem GameStop, approached an employee and stole $400 in cash.

He was last seen fleeing on foot, headed westbound towards Lexington Avenue.

Then on the morning of April 17, police say the suspect entered a GameStop on Sixth Avenue in the Flatiron District and forcibly removed $330 cash before fleeing to an unknown location.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, approximately 5'10" tall with brown eyes and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a gray Polo hooded sweatshirt, a multi-colored knit cap, a black shirt, blue sneakers and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
