NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- NYPD are searching for three women who they say harassed and assaulted a Bronx bakery worker on Wednesday.

Police say that on May 9, at approximately 5:30 p.m., inside Gina's Bakeryn a 34-year-old employee had an argument with a group of females.

The suspects attempted to pay less than marked prices for various items and the argument escalated into a physical confrontation at which time the females struck the employee.

One suspect removed the tip jar off the counter and fled the location westbound on Lydig Ave.

One suspect is described as a female Hispanic, 50-55 years-old with black hair and last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, knee brace on left knee and walking cane.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Anyone with information in regard to the identities of the females is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
