NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- New York was getting hit with its second nor'easter in a week, but maybe it'll finally be sunny in 10 days when the St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off on 5th Ave.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce, who's retiring after 35 years, will blow the whistle to start the 257th annual parade

Irish philanthropist Loretta Brennan Glucksman is the Grand Marshal -- the fifth woman in the parade's history to serve in the role.
