NYPD release surveillance video of East New York rape suspect

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) —The NYPD released surveillance footage of a suspect wanted for a rape in East New York last weekend.

A 26-year-old woman was approached at Pennsylvania Avenue and Linden Boulevard around 3 a.m. Saturday morning Aug. 3.

She walked into Linden Park to get away from her pursuer, but he followed her and raped her in the park.

He then fled in an unknown direction.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
