NYPD officer arrested for allegedly assaulting girlfriend's daughter, 10

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An NYPD officer was arrested Thursday in Brooklyn and charged with "acting in a manner injurious to a child," the NYPD said.

Police arrested Shaun Frazier, 39, when he was off-duty, according to the NYPD.  

His arrest comes after an NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau investigation. 

Frazier, who joined the NYPD in 2015, works in the NYPD's building maintenance department. 

He is expected to face a judge on Thursday.Disable SCAYT

He was arrested on suspicion hge sexually assaulted his girlfriend's 10-year-old daughter, The New York Post reported, citing unnamed sources. 

Frazier has been suspended pending the outcome of the case. 

Earlier this week, another officer in the building maintenance department, Ishmael Bailey, was arrested Wednesday on drug charges.
