NYPD officer accused of assaulting ex-girlfriend

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with robbery, assault, and harassment, according to police.

George Hudson, 33, is accused of stealing his ex-girlfriend’s cell phone and causing an injury to her wrist while doing so.

Hudson joined the department in 2012.

The incident occurred at the home the two previously lived in together.

The woman declined medical treatment.

He was arrested just before 3:30 a.m. in the 113th precinct and was suspended without pay.
