NYPD: Man Robbed 85-Year-Old Woman In Subway Station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD are looking for a man who robbed an 85-year-old woman in a subway station.

Police said the incident happened at 1 p.m. Friday at the 46th Street-Bliss subway station while the two waited for the number 7 train. The unidentified man accompanied the woman into the station and reached into her purse and took her wallet.

Authorities say the wallet contained $130, a debit card and personal papers.

The man fled the location on foot. He is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, standing 5-feet tall and weighing around 125 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing jeans, a white T-shirt, dark-colored shoes and a blue baseball hat.
