NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops are searching for a dirtbag who forced a woman into a building and raped her in the Bronx over the weekend.

The pervert pounced as the woman was walking near St. Ann’s Avenue and East 135th Street in Mott Haven just before sunrise on Sunday.

Police say the man told the woman he had a gun and made her go into a building near St. Ann’s Avenue and East 135th Street.

The woman was taken Lincoln Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police described the suspect as a black man in a black hoodie, black sweats and white sneakers.

Authorities released a surveillance image of him Tuesday and are pleading with the public for help.
