O’Neill to visit with slain teen’s community on Night Out Against Crime

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Tuesday is National Night Out Against Crime, and the NYPD along with city officials are hosting events throughout the five boroughs.

The idea is to promote community-police relations.

Speaking on PIX-11 earlier Tuesday, police commissioner James O'Neill said he'll visit the Bronx, near where 15-year-old Lesandro 'Junior' Guzman-Feliz was killed.

"The amount of tips we received, working together with the Bronx DA's office, there will be justice for Junior. So, I thought it was important that we go up to the 48 precinct tonight," he said.
