NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD's bomb squad was called into to investigate a suspicious package in the Bronx Monday afternoon.

"Due to police activity, expect traffic delays, road closures and a heavy presence of emergency personnel in the area of Sedgwick Avenue and Cedar Avenue in The Bronx," the city's Emergency Management office tweeted. "Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time."
