NYPD believe they've IDed victim in mystery assault video

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police said on Wednesday they believe they know who the victim is in a video that shows him being ruthlessly beaten on a subway train.

Officals said they believe the man is a 22-year-old resident of the Bronx who lives out of state. 

The assault is believed to have ocurred in November 2018, but police don't what train or where in the city.

Police are seeking to question the man.


The video was sent into police as a tip. 

In the video, the victim is begging his attackers to stop the beating.
