NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — There has been another mysterious death of another American tourist in the Dominican Republic, bringing the total to eight since last year.

The latest victim is 55-year-old Joseph Allen of Avenal, New Jersey.

He was found dead in his room at the Terra Linda Resort lsat week after complaining he felt hot and not 100 percent.

His sister found his body the next morning.

She said he was for the most part healthy.

“I don’t know who to blame, and I’d rather not guess, because you drive yourself crazy with that, but I do think that something is off and it needs to be investigated,” his brother, Jason Allen, told NBC4.

The family says it wants Allen’s body sent back to the U.S. as soon as possible for autopsy and they have reached out to Sen. Bob Menendez for help.
