White House Communications Director Hope Hicks Resigns

February 28, 2018 - 5:37 pm

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Trump administration is losing another key member of its team.

Communications Director Hope Hicks has resigned. She has become the latest Trump aide to leave the White House.

Hicks turned in her resignation a day after being interviewed for nine hours as part of the House Intelligence Committee's Russia investigation.

Hicks was seen as one of President Trump's most loyal aides and is generally credited with single-handedly running his communications team during the 2016 campaign.

Trump released a statement this evening saying he will miss having her at his side.
