In Tweet, Trump Accuses Mexico Of Doing 'Very Little, If Not Nothing' To Stop Illegal Immigration

PALM BEACH, Fla. (1010 WINS) -- President Donald Trump is spending the Easter holiday weekend in at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida as he does most other holidays.

But that is not stopping him from tweeting.

As the U.S., Canada, and Mexico renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement at his insistence, Trump tweeted that Mexico has done “very little, if not NOTHING” to stop illegal immigration, and he tweeted that must change or else he will stop NAFTA, which he called Mexico’s “cash cow.”

And as he left the Palm Beach Episcopal Church where he, First Lady Melania Trump, and daughter Tiffany Trump attended an Easter morning service, the president sent another message to Mexico.

He tweeted in capital letters “NO MORE DACA DEAL,” for immigrants brought into the U.S. as children and who face the phaseout of the program.

The Department of Homeland Security said it is continuing to process DACA renewal requests, but is not accepting new ones.
