NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A shoplifting suspect is dead after three employees tackled him inside a Stop & Shop store in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Police said Ralph Nimmons, 51, was spotted stuffing items into a box and was taken down by the workers at the store at Flatbush Avenue near Albemarle Road on Saturday morning.

The workers remained on top of Nimmons even as shoppers said he told them he could not breathe and had a bad heart, witnesses said.
