Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony postponed amid coronavirus concerns

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony has been postponed due to coronavirus fears.

The ceremony was originally schedued to air on HBO on May 2. It will now air on Saturday, Nov. 7.

This year's inductees include Newark native, Whitney Houston, and industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails.

This was the first time the event was to broadcast live on HBO.  

This year is 35th annual induction ceremony. Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, The Notorious B.I.G. and T-Rex are among the other inductees.
