Police: Man Groped Woman Through Window, Said He Was Cop, In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police were searching Sunday morning for a man who allegedly groped a woman through an open bedroom window, and claimed he was a police officer, in Brooklyn.
Around 4:40 a.m. Saturday, May 12, the suspect was walking on a second-floor rooftop of a building near Clarkson and Rogers avenues in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn.
He reached into the open bedroom window and groped the 21-year-old woman who was asleep in her bed, police said.
When the woman awoke, the man claimed to be a police officer and asked to join her in bed, police said.
The woman screamed and ran off, police said. There were no injuries reported.
