NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy who allegedly impersonated a police officer and pickpocketed a visually-impaired man at the 34th Street-Penn Station subway station.

The 64-year-old victim -- who has vision problems -- was trying to find the entrance to the 34th Street A, C, and E train station, when the suspect said he was a cop and offered to help.

As he led the man into the station, he slipped his hand into the man's pocket and grabbed his wallet.

Later that day, someone charged $500 to the victim's credit card.

The boy was charged with grand larceny and criminal impersonation, police said Sunday.
