NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Former mayor turned presidential lawyer Rudy Giuliani was in a minor accident in Midtown Thursday.

Police said around 2:20 p.m., Giuliani, who was with two staffers at the time, opened a car door at the corner of 49th Street and Eighth Avenue, and a pedicab crashed into the door.

The pedicab was treated at the scene, and there were no injuries.

Giuliani, 73, served as mayor from 1994 through 2001, and as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1983 until 1989.

Most recently, he has been serving as an attorney on the legal team for President Donald Trump amid Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
