4 Shot, 1 Dead In East Flatbush, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Sunday were searching for a suspect who shot four people, leaving one dead, in Brooklyn.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Saturday in East Flatbush, police said.

Police found a man lying unconscious with gunshot wounds to his thigh and torso at Kings Highway and East 53rd Street, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just a few blocks away at several sites along East 53rd Street, three other men were found with gunshot wounds, police said.

A 26-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest at 1200 East 53rd St., a 34-year-old man was found with a gunshot to the buttocks in front of 5030 Kings Hwy., and a 25-year-old man was found near East 53rd Street and Foster Avenue with a graze wound to the chest.

All three surviving victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and were expected to survive, police said.

Another 25-year-old man was found uninjured and was being questioned Sunday. No arrests had been made and the investigation continued.
