Nassau County declares state of emergency after coronavirus cases jumps to 48

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Nassau County Executive Laura Curran declared a state of emergency for the county on Friday.

 Curran also announced that the total number of cases of coronavirus in Nassau Caounty has risen to 48.

Curran also closed county-owned leisure facilities beginning at 5 p.m. Friday.
