NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – N and W train service was halted between Manhattan and Queens for about an hour Friday after a person was struck and killed by a subway train in Manhattan, transit officials said.

The person was struck and killed near the Lexington Avenue–59th Street station around 11 a.m., accoring to transit officials.

Citizen App video showing officers emerging near a tunnel at the station suggests the man or woman was struck on the tracks just outside of the station.
