NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Just months after she took office, a multimillionaire donor whose identity is unknown is reportedly working to defeat freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The mystery donor is “worth over $200 million” and has “connections to raise money in Manhattan,” Bronx Republican chairman Mike Rendino told The New York Post.

Three potential Republican opponents have already shown their interest in ousting AOC – journalist Ruth Papazian, NYPD cop-turned-teacher John Cummings and conservative radio producer Rich Valdes.

The donor – who is “hell-bent on getting AOC tossed” – could help any candidate who seeks to challenge the outspoken democratic socialist in her 2020 bid for reelection.

Those vying against AOC say she has snubbed her district, which includes parts of the Bronx and Queens, as she makes a national name for herself.

“She completely ignores the people in this district,” Papazian told the Post.

Valdes said AOC’s initials could stand for “ambition over constituents.”

Her spokesman defended her, telling the Post she has a "very strong presence in the district" and that her constituents "realize the work she’s doing at a national level is tying back to the district — Medicare for all, the Green New Deal, all these priorities."

While AOC won her district with 78 percent of the vote, just 33 percent of constituents supported her opposition to Amazon and only 41 percent back her Green New Deal, according to a Siena College poll.
