NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Robert Mueller's upcoming testimony in front of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees will be delayed a week by House Democrats, Politico reports.

House Democrats are negotiating over the details of the format with Mueller's representatives and the Justice Department.

A delay would be in exchange for longer testimony.

Sources tell Politico that the testimony would be delayed one week to July 24.

Under the original arrangement, each committee would have had just two hours to question Mueller.

The committees issued subpoenas to Mueller last month to answer questions about his investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 electoin.
