MTA shuts down 7 train service, FDNY investigates smoke

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Service on the 7 train has been shut down between Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza and an investigation by the FDNY is ongoing. 

According the MTA's twitter account, the FDNY is investigating smoke in the tubes between Manhattan and Queens.

Main St-bound 7 trains have resumed regular service with extensive delays.
