CAUGHT: MTA employee charged with exposing himself to two young girls

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An MTA employee was arrested Sunday after her allegedly exposed himself to two young girls in Brooklyn last week, police said.

Matthew Wohlfhart, 28, of Fort Hamilton, was identified as the suspect.

According to police, the first incident happened at 4:30 p.m. Monday near Ridge Boulevard and Fort Hamilton Park. Wohlfhart , driving a gray Toyota minivan, approached a 14-year-old girl walking with a friend and asked for directions. When she began to help the man, she noticed he was exposing himself.

Just days later, Wohlfhart was seen driving a dark SUV and approached an 11-year-old girl at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. He asked her for directions to McDonalds and asked her to get inside his car. As the victim got closer to the car, she saw his exposed genitals.

Wohlfhart was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness.
