NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Michael Cohen, President Trump's former lawyer was released from an upstate federal prison Thursday over coronavirus concerns and returned to his Upper East Side home, in a car driven by his son, to serve out the remainder of his sentence.

Cohen, who pleaded guilty to several charges including campaign finance fraud, entered his building wearing a cap, black suit jacket, jeans and a mask. The building's doorman put packages on a trolley and wheeled it into the building.

"I am so glad to be home and back with my family," Cohen, 53, tweeted. "There is so much I want to say and intend to say. But now is not the right time. Soon. Thank you to all my friends and supporters."
