NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are currently searching for a gunman who fatally shot a 26-year-old man getting into an Uber.

It happened in front of a Bedford Stuyvesant restaurant on Bedford Avenue at about 11:25 p.m. according to reports.

Officials say a man on the bicycle pulled up to the vehicle, opened the back door of the Uber and began to fire, shooting the victim in the neck and chest.

The victim was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital where he died.

A Neighbor said he heard least three to four shots fired.

"It's scary, I hope that there was a witness in maybe one of the businesses around here that saw who it was so they can find him," the neighbor told ABC7.

Police believe that both men had been involved in a dispute prior to the shooting.

So far no arrests have been made.
