NEW YORK (1010 WINS) --  A 71-year-old man was gunned down at a McDonald's in the Bronx Thursday afternoon.

Sylvester Zotola was shot shortly before 5 p.m. at the fast food restaurant located on Webster Avenue near East 173rd Street in the borough's Claremont section.

Nobody else was hurt and the gunman fled the scene.

Zotola, a reputed member of the Bonanno crime family, had been attacked twice in the past few years and this time he was shot several times in the head as he sat in the drive thru, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.

His son, Salvatore, escaped a shooting in July outside his Throggs Neck home.
