Manhole explosion in Upper Manhattan injures 2

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two people were injured when a manhole exploded in Upper Manhattan on Tuesday, according to fire officials.

The manhole which is located near the Broadway Bridge in the Marble Hill section exploded just after 10 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Both victims suffered minor injuries.

They were evaluated and treated at the scene, officials said.
