NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man and a woman seen on video threatening each other with knives on a packed Brooklyn train.

The pair got into an argument on a Manhattan bound 2 train at President street on Wednesday at approximately 5 p.m. in the Crown Heights section, according to officials.

As the train comes to a halt, the argument begins to escalate and the man and woman each pull out knives.

Eventually, another passenger intervened and the pair makes more threats towards each other before the woman is seen leaving the train.

There were no injuries reported in the incident but MTA Chief Safety officer Patrick Warren released a statement saying "what's depicted in that video is disturbing and unacceptable. The MTA and NYPD have zero tolerance for violence in the subway system. In this instance a customer quickly notified a Transit employee, who immediately radioed for police assistance. The MTA is cooperating closely with the NYPD investigation."

Police urge anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477).
